Jeremy Bradin, Director of award sponsors, KPR Midlink Ltd, commented,
“The entries this year, yet again, show the tremendous effort markets staff put into their work, and the diversity of the markets offer out there at the moment. There were an increasing number of private market entries alongside the local authority entries which indicates a broadening interest in the competition which can only be good for everyone involved in it.”
Graham Wilson added,
“Nabma is delighted by the continuing success of the Great British Market Awards. This year’s list of winners has some familiar faces but also some new markets who have not featured before. There are also some excellent markets who sadly did not figure among the list of winners and I hope that they will not be discouraged from entering again. What the competition shows is that we have some great markets serving local communities.”
TimCole, Commercial Writer of MTN, finished off by saying,
“It is always such a pleasure to be part of the judging panel and I enjoy going through all the fantastic entries. The Great British Market Awards are a great way to recognise all the hard work that goes into markets daily in the UK.”
