This year’s Red Nose Day takes place on Friday 13th March. All that week BBC Radio Manchester’s Brand New Breakfast Show will be broadcasting from major locations across Greater Manchester including Becky Want on Saturday 14th who is broadcasting from the Award Winning Bury Market.
30 years since Marty McFly first appeared on screens, Becky and her colleagues are hoping to raise lots of money for Comic Relief by doing the show live from a DeLorean DMC-12 Time Machine! Ok the Time Machine bit isn’t true, but they have borrowed a stunning DeLorean from a motor museum, it’s been made to look exactly like the one in the Back to the Future films.
The car is sure to create a stir wherever it goes, and people are asked to make a text-to-donate donation to Comic Relief if they’d like a picture sat in the car!
