Largest collection of international brands in the UK on show at Spring Fair

Home sector will reflect new trends, enabling retailers to increase sales

Sector is complemented by 13 other areas, covering the entire gift and homeware industry

Spring Fair – the largest showcase of gift and homeware products in the UK – returns to the NEC from 4-8 February 2018, with the show’s flagship Home sector set to showcase a number of exciting new international brands ahead of next season’s buying cycle.

With Euromonitor International reporting a trend back towards ‘cocooning’ at home, households are continuing to invest in big ticket items as well as more affordable furnishings. Decorative accessories and home fragrances are predicted to be in demand according to GlobalData, while young shoppers continue to be influenced by fast-changing interior trends – highlighting the need to constantly review and evolve product ranges.

Feeling at Home at Spring Fair

Spring Fair’s Home sector will enable retailers to do just that, bringing together hundreds of suppliers who will present a plethora of inspiring, deco fashion, on-trend homeware items including textiles, furniture, interior and outdoor accessories, as well as soft furnishings.

Spring Fair favourites Clarke & Clarke, Coach House, Hill Interiors, McGowan & Rutherford, Pacific Lifestyle, Voyage Maison and Minster Stylish Living will once again be present, while some exciting new names will be added to the mix in 2018. Among the new exhibitors showcasing their latest ranges at the show will be: Ashley Wilde Group, Roomset Ltd, Devon Duvets, Milano Rugs, The Foundryman and Blanc Mariclo.

Retailers will also find the UK’s largest selection of Scandinavian brands at Spring Fair, as well as a wide variety of Dutch-inspired designs. Nordic Style and Spira of Sweden will present hygge-inspired wares – with plenty more brands in the show’s The Summerhouse sector – while The Netherland’s flair for design will be brought to the fore by Light & Living, Clayre & Eef, Authentic Models and Koopman.

Louise Young, Managing Director of Spring Fair, said: With the confidence in UK housing market at a current low, there is clearly a move towards improving what we have rather than moving home. Consumers are demanding products and designs that are on-trend and Spring Fair provides the best way for retailers to find inspirational ranges from around the world that will inspire their customers and ultimately drive sales.”

Something for everyone

Retailers of all sizes will find next season’s bestsellers at Spring Fair, as well as hearing about the latest trends and gaining valuable business advice from leading industry experts. Every retail sector will be represented, from DIY and Party, to Toys, Christmas, Gifts and Greetings, Beauty & Wellbeing, Fashion, Jewellery & Luggage, Retail Solutions, Kitchen & Dining and Contemporary products. And not forgetting to mention The Summerhouse, a specially curated selection of premium, global brands designed to offer a fresh USP to retail selections. There is truly something for everyone.

Spring Fair 2017 boasted over 58,000 visitors, covering the entire retail industry and all the major players – from large multiples to smaller independent stores. Spring Fair 2018 will take place at Birmingham’s NEC from 4-8 February 2018, with Volume opening a day earlier.
