Gainsborough, the capital of England for five weeks back in 1014, hosts a bustling open-air general market every Tuesday and Saturday.

Held in the centre of a bustling market town, Gainsborough Market has around 80 stalls occupied by many long standing traders who provide a variety of products. They range from pet supplies, sweets, clothing and flowers, to locally grown fruit and veg, homemade cakes, fresh fish and quality meats, there really is something for everyone!

There are also many events and specialty markets held throughout the year, alongside the regular market. These include a Halloween event and Independents day which helps to support local businesses in Gainsborough.
