Martin Cox Chamois Finishers was originally established in 1979 as finishers and distributors of fine, genuine chamois leather. Whilst building up a customer base for the chamois leather it became apparent that it would be very useful to be able to offer an additional product.

In the south of England a number of people were asking for regular supplies of stockinette (mutton cloth) so in the early 1980’s we started converting stockinette, then moved on to completely manufacturing this product from start to finish by the late 1980’s. Nowadays we still offer the same wide range of genuine chamois leathers in all sizes and three qualities, also stockinette polishing cloth in nine different qualities and in many sizes from small 100gm retail packs to the giant commercial packs favoured by trade users.

Since those early days in the 80’s we have continued adding other valeting products to complement our range as they become available, so that nowadays as well as being manufacturers we are also importers and distributors of many quality car care products. We are now able to offer an extensive range of valeting accessories: microfibre cloths, synthetic chamois, specialist car brushes, commercial sprayers, car brushes and many more items – something for everyone, which you will see if you look round the site.

From the very beginning our objective has always been the same, to provide a quality product which can be sold with confidence, win the respect of the end user and ensure the repeat business that we all seek to achieve.
