Open Every Wednesday and Saturday
Penkridge Market is your traditional local market. We open every Wednesday and Saturday and host up to 100 stalls selling 1000s of products. We are a family run, independent market which is regularly described as one of the best markets in the area.

The market was established in 1978 and has become a defining feature of the village of Penkridge, attracting visitors from miles around.

In addition to the weekly stall markets we also hold a range of special events and attractions on the site. Every Wednesday we run an auction of live poultry, eggs and garden sundries alongside the traditional stall market. The auction commences at 11.30am every Wednesday and attracts people from far and wide.

On the third Saturday of each month we run a Fine Food and Craft Market alongside the weekly traditional stall market with regular stalls attending selling everything from cakes, pies and meat to jewellery, cards, paintings and candles.

On Bank Holiday Mondays throughout the Spring and Summer we run a special bank holiday market and car boot sale from 9am – 3pm.

Last year we launched a brand new event on the site, the Penkridge Children’s Market. This event is held twice a year in the Spring and Autumn. All stalls in attendance are selling or promoting products designed for children and there is lots of entertainment on offer making it a fantastic family day out.

We also run a Victorian Christmas Market every year which is always extremely popular.
