Shepherd’s Bush Market, the century-old street market in West London is set to host a six week street food event, showcasing some of London’s finest purveyors of food.
Organiser’s of FEAST, which made its name in Islington and Brick Lane, will unleash a sister event, Little Feast in Shepherd’s Bush Market from Thursday 2nd July.
The market will be hosted in Shepherd’s Bush Yard, a temporary space, not normally open to the public, at the Goldhawk Road end of Shepherd’s Bush Market, just a short walk from Goldhawk Road underground station.
Little Feast will run for six weeks, opening on Thursday and Friday evenings from 5pm and all day on Saturdays and Sundays.
Celebrating the diversity of the Capital’s multi-cultural cuisines, the event will offer street based culinary treats including grilled fish by Green Goat, Korean bbq by Got Seoul, juicy burgers by Cheeky Burger, Guasaca’s venulezean arepas and handmade melt in the mouth brownies by Bad Brownie
In time for summer, Little Feast will transform Shepherd’s Bush Yard with wooden huts to house the street food traders, long communal tables with sunken seating, festoon lighting and lots of greenery to create an urban garden oasis just the other side of one of London’s most bustling street markets.
The old fish shop in the market will also be transformed to create a deli kitchen & bar, called The Arch. From Tuesday to Friday during the day, The Arch will offer coffee, deli breakfasts, artisan salads and sandwiches. The Arch will also open as a standalone bar on Tuesday and Wednesday nights and from Thursday to Sunday The Arch will act as the bar for Little Feast, offering beer, ciders, wines, and some cheeky summer cocktails.

Three years ago FEAST pioneered the street food event scene and over the years its six events have attracted over 70,000 attendees in four different venues. The event has attracted some of London’s most exciting food offerings including Hix, Polpo, Pizza Pilgrims, Moro, St John and Patty & Bun.
FEAST has previously used disused postal sorting offices, open-air long cobbled streets, Georgian squares, tobacco factories and car parks. Now Little Feast will bring the concept back alongside the arches of Shepherds Bush Market on Goldhawk Road.
The event arrives as developers get ready to regenerate the area to create a revitalised street market in the heart of Shepherd’s Bush alongside new homes, shops and public realm to secure the area’s future as a thriving destination for traders, local people and visitors alike.
CF Commercial, together with joint agents TwentyRetail are working with Orion and Development Securities to rejuvenate the area while maintaining its charm, history and existing character.
