Following the successful launch of the local producer’s market and the series of ‘Summer Fun’ days in July, Northampton Borough Council is pleased to be welcoming back traders and entertainers for the second month at Northampton’s market.

On offer this Saturday at the local producer’s market, which runs alongside the existing market,  will be delicious wines and beers, breads and cakes as well as chic up cycled furniture.

Local businesses taking part in the second local producer’s market include:
•        The Good Loaf
•        Phipps Brewery
•        Frog Island Brewery
•        Fleur Fields Vineyards
•        All Fixed Up
•        Browns Gourmet Sausages
•        DonnaLulu Cooks

Councillor Jonathan Nunn, deputy leader of Northampton Borough Council, said: “The successful launch of the local producer’s market came as a result of feedback from businesses and members of the public, saying that they would like to see more local products at the market. We were pleased to see how well the first of these markets was received in July and look forward to seeing the producers’ market grow over the coming months.”

Any local producers interested in taking part in future market can contact Charlie Childs, market manager, on 07771 930475 or by email at: cchilds@northampton.gov.uk

People coming into the town centre on Saturday can make a day of it by getting involved in the second in a series of ‘Summer Fun’ days on the Northampton’s market.

This Saturday, artist Abi Sawyer will be inviting you to get creative in her arts and crafts workshops and music will be provided by indie-folk group, Matt McGuinness and the MLC, and Soul and RnB singer, Casey Leigh.

The entertainment will run from 11am to 3pm.
