East Herts Council are celebrating British Breakfast week at Hertford Market on Saturday 31st January with a gift voucher for all their traders giving them £2 off of a breakfast served at the market local café, The Hertford café.
Café owner Adem will serve up breakfast throughout the morning or provide a take away for those traders who need to get back to their stalls. Since opening the café a year ago, Adem says that every Saturday morning he sees many market traders popping in to the café for a bacon sandwich or just a cuppa, everyone is welcome and brings an early morning buzz to his business.
East Herts Councillor and Vice President of NABMA, William Ashley said that he often pops into the café with the market team, it’s an excellent way to meet up with traders chat about the market. This small business has embraced the market and made us all feel very welcome.
