The Town Centre is expected to see one of its busiest days yet on Saturday 19 September, as the annual Mardi Gras returns but to celebrate this year’s 1945 theme it will be joined by a Vintage Market.

Eastleigh Vintage Market 1The recently re-developed Market Place, home to Eastleigh’s bustling Thursday and Saturday markets is for the first time to play host to something a little different to the traditional market. Over 40 vintage themed stalls will pack the area from 10am to 7pm offering a range of clothing, jewellery, homeware and gifts.

The Vintage Market is being organised in partnership with Yellow Vintage who are renowned around the South for their popular vintage fairs regularly held at prestigious locations such as the Ageas Bowl. This day is proving to be the place to be for vintage-lovers as the Vintage Market will be situated next to Leigh Road Recreation Ground where the Mardi Gras will have vintage vehicles, live music and entertainment in full swing!
